SICILY, despite being surrounded by the sea, has a vast agricultural and farming production; rare delicacies are produced, among which cheeses. The typical Sicilian cheeses that prevail are those derived from local cattles, milk products obtained from a particular breed of cattle present on the Island: the “modicana”. The goats and sheep cheeses are distinguished by the high-quality making process and the quality of breedings.
