It is handed down a popular story about the origins of Sicilian Arancina in the Eastern part of Sicily. It is said that the shape of a cone, which I renamed "PIZZUTA" (meaning: A tip), is inspired by the volcano island, the ETNA: in fact cutting off the tip of the arancino, the steam that comes out from it reminds the smoke of the Sicilian volcano, while the surface of crispy breading and the red of the content it recall the lava in its two stages, hot and cold.

Available in size Mignon 50g, and Normal format 100g , here's one of the oldest Finger Food of Sicily.

Food culture in Italy, in Sicily in particular, is linked to the regional cuisine, it includes a series of small things to eat in one bite, where the diner, the customer, can seize culinary emotions. Each Finger Food must guarantee, once picked from the tray, the opportunity to become a delicacy for the five senses.
